About

I am a programmer who never wants to stop learning.  This blog was started to chronicle my learning during my time at www.hackerschool.com and beyond!

When I’m not in NYC studying computer science, I live with my husband in the silicon valley area of California. I am a self-taught programmer with a more official education in bioengineering (Stanford M.S.).  I have found that I love programming and am working to make a career for myself in the constantly evolving world of computer programming.

  1. Hack together on bittorrent client?

hi! I’m making a bittorrent client in C. Just to learn c, evented io, and understand more about networking. I was wondering if you want to pair up so we can learn from eachothers bit torrent implementations. I know yours is in python, but i don’t think it should be a lot of difference, logic-wise.

    Drop me a message!

  2. Hi Kristen,

I just finished reading your two part tutorial on bittorrent client programming.

I have an idea I want to bring to market and I am looking for a partner who can help with the programming. If you are interested I would love to talk with you briefly about this awesome idea.

    Thanks,
    Chris
